inFlow On-Premise was sunset.
Move your items this week.
inFlow sunset inFlow On-Premise on July 31, 2024: no support, installers or licence server, so an install runs only on the one computer holding its offline certificate. Export your items, barcodes and counts by location from inFlow, import them into InventoryQuick, and keep working on the web, iPhone and Android from $19/month. You won't be charged for 7 days.
You won't be charged for 7 days. From $19/month. No per-user fees inside a plan.
What the sunset means for your install
inFlow's own sunset plan, read October 2026, says what stopped on July 31, 2024. Each line below is a consequence of it.
The licence server is off.
A licence can no longer be activated or re-activated. An install keeps running only with an offline access certificate created on that server computer before the sunset, and the certificate is tied to that hardware.
A dead PC is a dead system.
The certificate cannot be moved to another computer, so a failed drive, a Windows reinstall or a new machine ends the install. The data is still in your backup; the program that reads it is not coming back.
No support, no articles, no installers.
inFlow stopped providing technical support, knowledge base articles and installer downloads for On-Premise on the sunset date. The remaining copies live on the PCs that already have them.
The offered path is a monthly subscription.
inFlow points On-Premise customers to inFlow Cloud, a subscription priced per month. A shop that paid once for a licence is now choosing between two monthly bills, and the other one is on this page.
What comes across from inFlow, and how
inFlow On-Premise exports CSV files from Main Menu > General > Export Data. InventoryQuick reads the column headers below by name.
| What you track | How InventoryQuick handles it |
|---|---|
| Product Details export: ProductName, SKU, Category | Each row becomes an item. ProductName is the item name, SKU is the SKU and Category is the category. Deactivated products are not in the inFlow export, which is usually what you want. |
| Barcode and Barcodes | A Barcode column becomes the item barcode you scan with a phone camera. inFlow keeps several barcodes in one field separated by commas; that column is read as extra barcodes, and each one finds the item when scanned. |
| Cost, Price and Vendor price | Cost and Vendor price become the item cost; Price becomes the selling price. If both Cost and Vendor price are present, map one of them during the import preview and leave the other out. |
| Current Stock List: ProductName, Location, Quantity | One row per product per location becomes one item with a count at each location. Add the locations first, with the same names inFlow used, and the counts land on them. Sublocations are not read: a sublocation count joins its location. |
| Vendors and customers | Suppliers and customers are added in the app, or you paste the exported list to the IQ Assistant, which can create them in bulk. A supplier named on an item row is linked to that item. |
| Purchase orders, sales orders and quotes | Not imported. Re-enter the orders that are still open; the closed history stays in your inFlow export as a record. Purchase orders, sales orders and transfers are on every plan. |
| What does not come across | Serial numbers, lots and expiry dates, units of measure, HS codes and country of origin, vendor product codes and lead times, pictures and attachments. InventoryQuick counts whole units and does not track serials or lots. |
Questions from inFlow On-Premise users
inFlow On-Premise was sunset. What should a small business move to?
Software that imports the CSV files inFlow exports, counts items by location, scans item barcodes with a phone, raises purchase orders and sales orders, and charges a flat monthly price without per-user fees. InventoryQuick does all of that on every plan from $19/month, and you won't be charged for 7 days.
How do I get my data out of inFlow On-Premise?
In inFlow, open Main Menu > General > Export Data and export Product Details, Customers and Vendors as CSV; from the stock list, export the Current Stock List. If the program no longer opens, your inFlow backup file is still readable by any install that has its certificate, so a colleague with a working copy can run the exports for you.
Will my barcodes and counts by location survive the move?
Yes. The Barcode column becomes the item barcode, extra codes in the Barcodes column are kept, and the Current Stock List gives each item a count at each location, with the locations created first under the same names.
I had 1,200 products across 2 warehouses on inFlow. Which plan fits?
Business, at $149/month: 5,000 items, 50 locations and 15 users. Pro, at $49/month, covers 500 items and 5 locations, and Starter, at $19/month, 250 items and 3 locations.
Which plan fits an inFlow On-Premise shop
Every plan includes item barcode scanning, label printing, reorder points, purchase orders, sales orders, transfers between locations and CSV import, with no per-user fees inside a plan.
| Plan | Price | Items | Locations | Users | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19/month | 250 | 3 | 2 | Counts by location, barcode scanning and labels, purchase orders, sales orders, transfers, CSV import, the IQ Assistant (25 messages a month) and a reorder point on each item. No check-in or check-out. |
| Pro | $49/month | 500 | 5 | 3 | Everything in Starter, plus check-in and check-out for tools and equipment, and 100 IQ Assistant messages a month. |
| Business | $149/month | 5,000 | 50 | 15 | Demand forecasting, and higher limits on items, locations, users and IQ Assistant messages. |
| Enterprise | $349/month | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Work orders and cutlist import for jobs that consume materials, reorder suggestions and shortage alerts from open work orders, and unlimited items, locations and users. |
Frequently asked questions
When was inFlow On-Premise sunset?
July 31, 2024, by inFlow's own sunset plan: support, knowledge base articles, installer downloads, new licences and the licensing server all ended that day.
Can I keep using inFlow On-Premise?
Only on a computer that holds an offline access certificate created before the sunset. The certificate is tied to that hardware and cannot be moved, so the install ends when that computer does.
Which inFlow columns does the import read?
ProductName, SKU, Category, Barcode, Barcodes, Cost, Price and Vendor price from the Product Details export, and ProductName, Location and Quantity from the Current Stock List. Unit of measure, serial and lot columns, HS codes and vendor lead times are not read.
Does InventoryQuick import my inFlow purchase orders and sales orders?
No. Items, barcodes and counts import from CSV; orders do not. Re-enter the orders that are still open and keep the inFlow export as the record of closed ones.
Does it track serial numbers or lots?
No. InventoryQuick counts whole units per item per location. If every unit must carry its own serial number or lot, this is not the right fit.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $19/month, Pro is $49/month, Business is $149/month and Enterprise is $349/month. There are no per-user fees inside a plan, and you won't be charged for 7 days.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. There are iPhone and Android apps, and any phone camera scans item barcodes. The web app is for desktop. inFlow On-Premise ran on one Windows PC; this runs wherever you are.
Can I check tools out to a person?
Yes, on the Pro plan and up ($49/month): scan a tool out to a person or job site, add an expected return date, and a daily overdue summary is emailed to the account owner.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. InventoryQuick tracks stock: items, counts, locations, barcodes, reorder points, purchase orders, sales orders and transfers. It is not accounting software.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets a free trial. You pick a plan and enter a card to start it, and you won’t be charged for 7 days. When the trial ends, the plan you picked begins — starting at $19/mo for Starter. If the subscription does not continue, your account goes read-only and your data is preserved.
