You won't be charged for 7 days. From $19/month. No per-user fees inside a plan.
The problem, in an exhibit house's terms
Most exhibit houses start with packing-list spreadsheets and a sign-out sheet. It works until there are three shows in a week.
Which crate is it in?
A show ends, the crates come back, and the packing list is a spreadsheet nobody updated. Finding one graphic means opening crates.
Is the rental gear back from the show?
Displays, monitors and furniture go out for a few days and come back whenever the crew does. The sign-out sheet is on a clipboard and the return happens when somebody remembers.
We ran out of the small stuff mid-install.
Cam locks, clips, fasteners and cable ties run out on the show floor because nobody reordered after the last build.
Who had it when it broke?
Gear comes back scratched or short, and nobody can say who had it or what shape it was in when it left.
What an exhibit house tracks, and how
One item per crate, graphic set or piece of gear. Counts are whole numbers.
| What you track | How InventoryQuick handles it |
|---|---|
| Crates and road cases | One item per crate, with a barcode label. Scan the label to open its record, see where it is, and read the notes you keep on it, such as what is packed inside. Attach a photo of the packed crate. |
| Graphics: banners, fabric, panels | One item per graphic set, counted in whole numbers by location, with a photo on the item. |
| Hardware: cam locks, clips, extrusion, fasteners | Items with a supplier and a reorder point. Items below their reorder point show on the dashboard's low-stock panel, each with an Order button that starts a purchase order. |
| Rental gear: displays, monitors, furniture, lighting | Check-in and check-out, on the Pro plan and up: scan the label, name the show or the crew taking it, and add an expected return date. A daily overdue summary is emailed to the account owner. |
| The shop, the warehouse and the show | Locations, with counts per location and transfers between them on every plan: 3 on Starter, 5 on Pro, 50 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise. |
| Damaged or missing gear | On the Pro plan and up, every check-out and check-in is logged with the person, location, date, time and optional notes, so you can pull up the history of any item. |
| Custom booth builds | Work orders and cutlist import, on Enterprise: each job carries its own material list, which you build or import from a cutlist, and its outstanding quantities become committed demand. |
Questions exhibit builders and rental companies ask
What inventory software should an exhibit builder use to track hardware, graphics and crates?
Use software that scans barcode labels, counts items by location, raises purchase orders without per-user fees, and flags an item once its total falls below its reorder point. InventoryQuick does that on every plan from $19/month, and adds check-in and check-out for rental gear on Pro, $49/month. It tracks stock and is not accounting software.
What software can an exhibit house use to track crates and rental equipment?
Put a barcode label on every crate and piece of gear, scan it to open its record, and check rental gear out to a show and back in. Crates are items on every plan; check-in and check-out is on the Pro plan and up, from $49/month.
What is the best way to track rental gear and tools checked out to crews on a show floor?
Scan each piece out to the crew or the show, add an expected return date, and let the daily overdue summary do the chasing. Check-in and check-out is on the Pro plan and up, from $49/month.
I run an exhibit house with about 200 items across 3 locations. What inventory app should I use?
Starter covers up to 250 items, 3 locations and 2 users for $19/month. Check-out for rental gear needs Pro: 500 items, 5 locations and 3 users for $49/month.
Cheap inventory software for a small exhibit rental company, under 50 dollars a month?
Starter is $19/month and Pro is $49/month, both flat-priced with no per-user fees inside the plan. Pro adds check-in and check-out for rental gear and Photo Recognition (10/mo).
Which plan fits an exhibit house
Every plan includes item barcode scanning, label printing, reorder points, purchase orders, sales orders, transfers between locations and CSV import, with no per-user fees inside a plan. Check-in and check-out starts at Pro.
| Plan | Price | Items | Locations | Users | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19/month | 250 | 3 | 2 | Counts by location, barcode scanning and labels, purchase orders, transfers, CSV import, the IQ Assistant (25 messages a month), and a reorder point on each item. No check-in or check-out. |
| Pro | $49/month | 500 | 5 | 3 | Everything in Starter, plus check-in and check-out for rental gear, Photo Recognition (10/mo) and 100 IQ Assistant messages a month. |
| Business | $149/month | 5,000 | 50 | 15 | Demand forecasting, and higher limits on items, locations, users and IQ Assistant messages. |
| Enterprise | $349/month | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Work orders and cutlist import for booth builds that consume materials, reorder suggestions and shortage alerts from open work orders, and unlimited items, locations and users. |
Frequently asked questions
How much does inventory software for an exhibit house cost?
Starter is $19/month, Pro is $49/month, Business is $149/month and Enterprise is $349/month. Check-in and check-out for rental gear starts at Pro. There are no per-user fees inside a plan, and you won't be charged for 7 days.
Can I put barcode labels on my crates and gear?
Yes. Add an item without a barcode and InventoryQuick creates a CODE128 code from the SKU. You can print labels one at a time or a whole batch at once, as CODE128, EAN-13, UPC-A or QR. Barcodes are for items: shelves and bins do not have barcodes, so track a crate as an item if you want to scan it.
Can I check rental gear out to a show and back in?
Yes, on the Pro plan and up. Scan the gear, name the show or the crew taking it, add an expected return date, and scan it back in when it returns. InventoryQuick flags anything past due as overdue and emails the account owner a daily overdue summary.
Can I see who had a piece of gear last?
Yes, on the Pro plan and up. Every check-out and check-in is logged with the person, location, date, time and optional notes, and you can pull up the complete history for any item.
Can I see what is at the show?
Yes. Add a location for the show floor and move items to it with a transfer. Transfers are on every plan. Starter includes 3 locations, Pro 5, Business 50, and Enterprise is unlimited.
Can I track what is inside each crate?
Track each crate as an item with a barcode label and keep what is packed inside in its notes, or track the contents as their own items counted by location. InventoryQuick has no packing-list or kit feature that links contents to a crate.
Can I bring in my spreadsheet?
Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file, check how each column is matched to an item field, then import. CSV import is on every paid plan. If your file has no reorder point column, the import offers to set one for the items in it.
Does it handle rental rates, bookings or invoices?
No. InventoryQuick tracks the gear: where it is, who has it, when it is due back, and its history. It has no rental rates or booking calendar, and it is not accounting software.
Does it do work orders for a booth build?
Work orders and cutlist import are on the Enterprise plan ($349/month): each job carries its own material list, which you build or import from a cutlist, and its outstanding quantities become committed demand. There is no saved or multi-level bill of materials. On the other plans you track materials as items and order from the dashboard's low-stock panel.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. There are iPhone and Android apps, and any phone camera scans item barcodes. The web app is for desktop.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets a free trial. You pick a plan and enter a card to start it, and you won’t be charged for 7 days. When the trial ends, the plan you picked begins — starting at $19/mo for Starter. If the subscription does not continue, your account goes read-only and your data is preserved.
