Nested locations that mirror your layout, stock tracked per location, and a mobile app for the floor. Flat plans from $19/mo.
Fishbowl publishes its subscription pricing, which not every vendor in this category does. What it does not publish is the implementation fee — and that is required on every purchase. This is a read of the live pricing page as of July 2026, with the parts that are quoted rather than listed called out as such.
Fishbowl's published subscription tiers#
Fishbowl splits into two product lines. The cloud product, Fishbowl Inventory, lists prices outright:
| Plan | Price | Users included |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $229/mo billed annually | 2 |
| Growth | $429/mo billed annually | 5 |
| Scale | $729/mo billed annually | 10 |
The manufacturing and warehouse product, Fishbowl Advanced, gives starting prices only:
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Warehouse | from $595/mo | priced by users and deployment |
| Advanced Manufacturing | from $675/mo | priced by users and deployment |
Fishbowl states Advanced supports "teams from 2 users to 200+" and that "final pricing is quoted to your users and deployment." So the two Advanced numbers are floors, not prices.
The three things the headline number leaves out#
1. $229 is a two-user price
Every cloud tier bundles a fixed seat count. Reading the tiers as a per-seat curve: two users is $229, five is $429, ten is $729. Going from 2 to 10 seats more than triples the bill. If you are sizing a plan, count the people who will actually log in before comparing the entry price to anything else.
2. Every listed price is billed annually
The monthly figures shown are the annual-commitment rate. That is normal in this category, but it means the headline number carries a year-long commitment, and a month-to-month arrangement is a separate conversation.
3. Implementation is required, and it is not priced
Fishbowl's own pricing page says: "we do require an implementation package as part of your Fishbowl purchase." No figure is attached to it anywhere on the page.
This is the single most important line on it. You cannot compute a first-year total from the published numbers, because a mandatory component has no published price. Any total-cost figure you find elsewhere is an estimate someone else made.
Be careful with third-party pricing pages#
Several of the pages that rank for Fishbowl pricing quote perpetual-licence figures — numbers like $4,395 for a single-user licence with $1,195 per additional user. Fishbowl's own pricing page today lists monthly subscription tiers instead. Check the publication date on any third-party pricing breakdown before you rely on it, including this one.
Questions worth asking before you sign#
- What is the implementation package for our specific setup, in writing?
- Is the implementation fee one-time, or does any part recur?
- Which tier includes the features we actually need, and what moves us up a tier?
- What is the month-to-month price, if there is one?
- What happens to the price at renewal?

How this compares to flat pricing#
The reason to do this arithmetic is that inventory tools price on very different models. Fishbowl bundles seats into tiers with a required implementation. Others charge per user with no floor. InventoryQuick is flat per tier — $19 to $349/mo with no per-user fee and no implementation package — so the number on the pricing page is the number you pay.
Whichever you choose, the useful comparison is not entry price against entry price. It is the plan you would actually need, with the seats you actually have, plus anything mandatory that is not listed.
Common questions
How much does Fishbowl cost per month?
Fishbowl Inventory lists three cloud tiers on its pricing page: Essentials at $229/mo for 2 users, Growth at $429/mo for 5 users, and Scale at $729/mo for 10 users, all billed annually. Fishbowl Advanced starts at $595/mo for Warehouse and $675/mo for Manufacturing, and those two are quoted rather than fixed.
Does Fishbowl charge an implementation fee?
Yes. Fishbowl's pricing page states that an implementation package is required as part of every purchase. It does not publish a price for it, so you have to request one. This means a first-year total cannot be calculated from the published figures alone.
Is Fishbowl pricing per user?
Not directly. Each cloud tier includes a fixed number of seats — 2, 5 or 10 — so you move up a tier to add people rather than paying per seat. In practice that behaves like per-user pricing in steps: going from 2 users to 10 takes the price from $229 to $729.
Why do other sites quote $4,395 for Fishbowl?
Figures like a $4,395 single-user licence and $1,195 per additional user come from a perpetual-licence model. Fishbowl's own pricing page today lists monthly subscription tiers. Check the date on any third-party pricing page before relying on it.
Can I get Fishbowl month-to-month?
The prices shown on the pricing page are billed annually. If month-to-month matters to you, ask directly what that rate is, because it is not published alongside the annual figures.
