Construction Inventory — Tools & Materials by Job Site
Your $2,000 laser level is somewhere. You just don't know which site. Stop losing expensive equipment.
Common challenges.
Common inventory challenges in construction & contractors
Your $2,000 laser level is gone
It was on Site B last week. Or was it Site C? Nobody signed it out. Nobody signed it in. It could be in someone's truck right now. You'll probably just buy another one.
Materials show up at the wrong site
Lumber delivered to Site A. Site B needed it. Now you're paying for another delivery and losing a day of work while the crew stands around.
You're driving to sites just to check what's there
Five active sites. No idea what materials are on each one. The only way to find out is to physically go there and look.
Tools quietly walk off every year
It's not one big theft. It's a drill here, a saw there, safety gear that 'disappears.' It adds up — and you can't even prove what's missing.

Common questions.
Can I see which tools and materials are at each job site?
Yes. Each site is a location, and you can look at one site or all of them at once. Moving gear between sites is a transfer, which records who moved what, when, and where it went, so you have a trail for billing a job or settling an argument about where something ended up. Site counts follow the plan: 3 on Starter, 5 on Pro, 50 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise.
How does the crew update anything from the field?
Through the iOS or Android app, scanning item barcodes with the phone camera. There is no separate scanner to buy and nothing to install on a laptop in the trailer. The app does need a connection to save a change, so a site with no signal is a real limitation: crews there update when they get back into coverage rather than working from a local queue.
Can I check a tool out to a specific person or crew?
Yes, on the Pro plan at $49/mo. Check a tool out to a person, a crew, or a site, set a due-back date, and the item shows who has it until it is checked back in. Anything past its due date is flagged, and the account owner gets a daily email listing overdue items.
Will this help with an insurance claim after a theft?
That is one of the strongest reasons contractors use it. Every item can carry photos, a serial number in the barcode field, purchase records, and a complete movement history. After a theft you can produce an itemized list with values and proof you owned the equipment, which is the documentation that usually decides how much of a claim gets paid.
What does it cost for a contractor?
Starter is $19/mo for 250 items, 3 sites, and 2 users. Most contractors who want tool check-out need Pro at $49/mo, which adds check-in/check-out and covers 500 items, 5 sites, and 3 users. Business at $149/mo covers 5,000 items across 50 sites with 15 users. There are no per-user or per-tool fees on any plan. The free trial unlocks every feature on every tier. You pick a plan and enter a card to start it, and you won’t be charged for 7 days.
